Together We Rise

Our shared cognitive dissonance demands resolution. The belief of supremacy and acts of oppression and the belief in diversity and access are external, communal resolutions. One, destructive. One, constructive. Choose.

Versus Ethos:

We challenge the premise of any unquestionable and antiquated conclusions, traditions or authoritarianism as being wisdom.

No rebellion exists for its own sake — Here we stand - as testament of the necessity for change, courage and cooperation in building inclusive systems. Is civility not active inclusion? Is society not diversification personified?

Deserts and monotonous planets are hellscapes for humanity.

Earth is the most diverse biosphere known and we can't seem to agree on the most obvious thing. We are here to enhance each others lives via our diversity, not to deliberately destroy the diversity which births and sustains life.

Whether we love or hate, we’re here together. Solving cognitive dissonance the wrong way leads to supremacy and oppression. Solving it the correct way leads to civility and freedom for all.

Versus Ethos challenges the premise of any unquestionable antiquated conclusions, traditions and authoritarianism being wisdom. No rebellion exists for its own sake — Here stands a testament of the necessity for change, courage and cooperation in building inclusive systems. What is civility if not an act of inclusion? What is society if not a diversified environment?

Each example of a desert or monotonous planet is a hellscape for humanity. We live in the most diverse biosphere known and we can’t seem to agree to make the most of it by recognizing the most obvious thing. We are here to enhance each others lives via our diversity, not to deliberately destroy the diversity which births and sustains life.

Equitable Stewardship

Companies don't exist in a vacuum and business is non-existent without communities. Our voice should not be silenced for the profit of others and our energy should not be turned into the tool of our own oppression.

Generational Goodwill

Goodwill must be actively pursued and maintained in order to sustain any rights and opportunities afforded us by past efforts.

It only takes one generation of extremism to enshrine authoritarianism before people will oppress themselves out of fear, indefinitely. Goodwill is good faith in action. It is not the usurious, performative nonsense of our oppressors. Nor is it the trauma bonding, learned helplessness, appeasement mindset so often accepted by us.

Progressive work is the work we do to ensure that society continues our legacy. It’s work which ensures we don’t live in a future version of a feudal, dystopian nightmare state.

Prioritize Home

Who's raising your community, partner or kids? For all the experience gain at work, your expertise can't be transferred to friends and family with two jobs and a 60hr+ work week. Furthermore, the structured work environment inherently limits the scope of personal benefit. Our work starts with sacrificing work to be at home and in our community. There is no universally accepted and proven corporate path to individual wealth, but corporations are the proof that there is a community path to wealth. Maybe those unemployed or underemployed people are suppose to be [our job title] in our community, but we're not funding them with our experience or capital.

Cooperate and Collaborate

Our work continues with investing our time into ourselves, questioning our current conclusions and preconceived notions. Investing into others, the grace to understand before being understood. Investing in our community a cooperative spirit which lifts us out of the propensity to waste each others energy via unnecessary arguments and aggression. Collaborating to exchange expertise, ensure comprehensive growth, facilitate camaraderie and availability.

Practice Practical Feedback

We must invest our personal capital in companies which consider us and our communities valued stakeholders. Spend our dollars with companies who treat us like people, not like cattle. Spend with and work for companies who pay fairly and hire our community members for the highest-earning positions. Spend with and work for companies who provide equity in ownership and decision making over seasoned companies who insist on using us as chattel slaves.
